Baby Girl

Morning,
How are we all doing today? Here's hoping it's a good day for you all.
It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's Manuela's turn to choose the challenge theme which is:
'Paper Piecing'
(which is to stamp something on some patterned paper and cut it out).

Why not join in with us and check out what the rest of the teamies have made. There is
some fab inspiration from them too.

I've had a lovely few days. First my friends Sheila and Tom popped to see me on Sunday which was lovely as I've not seen them for a few months. Later on that day my dad came to see me and we had a good catch up. On Monday my Sister in law popped early in the afternoon to see us all. She is over from South Africa and I've not seen her for nearly 2 years. It was so nice. I've never been so sociable.

My MRI scan was clear which was amazing news and so was my latest mammogram. Keep healthy everyone. Nice to get some good news.  Thank you for your lovely comments as always.

Flowers and lots of purple...

Morning all,

It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's Vickie's turn to choose the theme this time which is:
'The earth laughs in flowers'

So I dug out 1 of my freebie large flower stamps out and inked up the background stamp. Hope you like it.

We'd love to see your creations, so why not pop over to:
and get some inspiration from the fab teamies.

Challenges:

Thank you for your good luck wishes for my bowel procedure which was on Monday. You are very kind. Everything was going well until the consultant realised that due to the adhesions from my full hysterectomy last April to get rid of the cancerous ovary, he couldn't remove it after all. I need to have a little operation. At least he got a good look and we can go forward now. I felt very queer during and afterwards as my blood pressure dipped.... probably seeing my bottom on the screen again - ha ha... Well you've got to laugh otherwise we'd cry wouldn't we. Shamus took me home and I had an afternoon in my pj's on the sofa. Hubby, Shannen and Hunter the dog kept an eye on me. Also my family and lovely friends sent messages to see how I was too.  I am a lucky lady.

Hope you're all well. Thanks for popping by.

Live, Laugh and love

Hi all,

How are you all doing today? I'm abit later in posting this week. Been a little wobbly on the old legs since my MRI on Monday. Just my bowel procedure to go on Monday to get rid of the naughty polyp. I have to fast from 9 am tomorrow. So fingers crossed. I am hoping to get my scan results on the 22nd March when I see my Gynaecologist.

Anyway enough about that. I've been busy doing some crafting this week and I've really enjoyed it.
I used my Indigo blu stamps and had a ball. Nice to use just one colour for a change. I even dug some glitter out for the middle of the flowers.

Challenges:

That's all from me today.Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks for popping by and for your lovely comments.

For Mum

Morning,
How are we all doing today? Here's hoping it's a good day for you all.
It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's Caz's turn to choose the challenge theme which is:
'Celebrate Women's Day'

So I made a card for my Mum using my Clearly Besotted stamps, my Clarity letters and my Sue Wilson Bow die which I love. My Mum loves poppies as I do so I hope she likes my card.

Why not join in with us and check out what the rest of the teamies have made. There is some fab inspiration from them too.

I had a lovely day yesterday, I did nothing but craft. My arms are alot better so at least I can do some stamping. It was so good to play.

That's all for today, I have my yearly mammagram appointment this afternoon at 1:09pm - weird time. I aren't having any problems, it's just due to my family history. Have a great day whatever you're up to.

My brother in law popped yesterday too as he was in the area. Busy, busy. Nice to have visitors while I'm trying to stay in over the next 2 weeks as I have to be well enough for my scans and procedure. Lots of crafting time.
