A Pink Christmas

Morning all,

It's the 1st of the month so
it's time again for a new challenge over at Sparkles Forum Christmas.

It's the lovely Helen's turn to choose the theme this month which is:
'Non - Traditional Colours'
I used some craftwork cards papers, Penny black wreath stamp, a freebie JOY stamp and diecut snowflakes and xmas trees.
Hope you like it.
Why not join in with us and get ahead with your Christmas cards. You know it makes sense!!! It's not so easy when the sun is shining though is it!
Challenges:
Thanks for popping by to see what I've been up to.
I haven't been able to blog for a month, apologies.I can't seem to get to grips with blogging lately. Our cross-staffie Hunter has been poorly the last few weeks and very clingy so I haven't managed to craft much. He had a haematoma(a burst blood vessel) on his ear. It kept filling up and needed draining. Fingers crossed the steroids work this time.
Bless him. Take care.

Challenges:

Thanks for popping by to see what I've been up to. Apologies for not being around much in blogland. I must get myself organised to blog more often now my appointments have subsided.
I've just got back from a week in Scotland visiting my family in Arbroath. I had a wonderful break away as well as checking on my Mum who hasn't been keeping so well so far this year. She's alot brighter and we managed abit of shopping and a few trips out for coffee. Well it would be rude not too. Ha Ha....

Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday whatever you're up to. I'm taking it easy after being away but I might do some crafting.
Take care.

Is a brisk windy day here in East Yorkshire, I've been putting a card together this weekend with my Clarity stamps and stencil. It was nice to get inky again mind you I don't need an excuse.. do you?

What have you all been doing this weekend? Anything fun?
It's been a nice quiet one for us. My Mum and my Step Dad Bob were due to pop in on their way back to Scotland as they were supposed to be in Leeds for a family wedding but my Mum is really poorly with a chest infection bless her. Hoe she picks up soon.
Challenges:
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and thank you for popping to see me.

Poppies

Morning all,

I have just got home from meeting a friend for lunch in Goole. It was lovely. I tried a veggie burger for the first time.... yummy. It was so nice to have a catch up. I thought I'd blog the card that I made this week using the Indigo Blu poppy heart and words borrowed from my friend Sheila. The background is an Indigo blu stencil, it was a fun card to make.
Challenges:

Hope you've all had a nice day whatever you've been doing. Thanks for your lovely comments.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello,

How are we all doing today? Hope it's a good day for you! We just send cards for valentines day so here is the one I made for my hubby:
I used Clearly Bessotted stamp sets and the backing paper was from my stash as were the little buttons. I quite enjoyed making it as there wasn't any colouring involved etc... and no fussy bits as Shamus says... Men eh!!!!
